If Trump wins it is because of the unconstitutional winner-take-all interpretation of the electoral college. This winner-take-all allowed Trump to UNEQUALLY win electoral votes based on popular vote.

If Trump wins it is not because of regionalism, nor because of #FAKENEWS, nor because of the Russians, nor because of party bias, nor because of large state v. small  state bias, nor the FRAUD in Trump University, nor the FRAUD in Trump Foundation, nor because of money, nor becuase of trump's competence (or incompetence) NOR BECAUSE OF ANYTHING CONSTITUTIONAL WITH THE ELECTORAL COLLEGE. If Trump wins it is because of the unconstitutional winner-take-all CORRUPTION of the electoral college.  This winner-take-all allowed Trump to UNEQUALLY and thus unconstitutionally win electoral votes.

Hillary was beaten not by the constitutional assertion of the Electoral College, but by the CORRUPTION of a WINNER-TAKE-ALL interpretation.   This WINNER-TAKE-ALL interpretation by the states is in direct conflict with the 14th Amendment's constitutionally secured "equal protection of the law."

With a winner takes all per state in the CORRUPTION of the Electoral College, theoretically you could win the presidency with 25% of the total vote +1.

You win half the states by population or by electoral vote with 50% of their state POPULAR vote +1 ( that = 25% of the total country's POPULAR vote +1). That in turn gives you 50% of the electoral college.  Throw in the small state advantage of 2 Senators (which gives Wyoming voters 66 times the power in the senate than California voters) and/or 2 EXTRA electoral votes per state and you win the presidential electoral college with only 22.30% of the vote +1.  In the 2016 election Trump's game only disenfranchising 2,860,107 (2.09%) voters.  That is antithetical to the idea of a DEMOCRACY of equal persons.
