Abolish the Senate? NO!!!!!!!!

We need bi-partisan reform for the Senate!

Abolish the Senate? NO, we need bi-partisan reform for the Senate! This is and should be a NON-PARTISAN issue. Yes, “dark money” and the filibuster aggravates an already bad unrepresentative situation.

Bernie Sanders has 45 times the authority of any Texas Voter/Senator. Texas has a population of 29,183,290. Vermont has a population of 643,503. Texas Population is 45 times that of Vermont (29,183,290/643,503=45.35 times.

REPUBLICAN Wyoming has 68 times the representation in the senate as DEMOCRATIC California representation. The two senators in Wyoming represent 577,719 population, California 39,576,757 thus 39,576,757/577,719= 68 times.

This Is non-partisan mathematics! The Senate is BLATANTLY unrepresentative, a remnant of the slavery issue. This is a NON-PARTISAN issue. Yes, “dark money” and the filibuster aggravates an already bad unrepresentative situation.

In a new unrepresentative “dark money" senate without regard to the filibuster or party, 52 of the 100 senators, from the 26 least populous states amount to a minimum 18% of the population.

To hold a filibuster, STOP PROGRESS, takes 42 senators from the 21 smallest states with a minimum 11% of the population.

Now you might mistakenly ASSUME that the 30 states and the 60 of 100 senators needed to overcome a filibuster would REQUIRE a majority. WRONG!!!! The 30 least populated states (60 senators) with a population of 80,549,406, amount to only 24% of the total population.

REFORM the UNREPRESENTATIVE “dark money” and the filibuster strapped unrepresentative SENATE – NOW!!!!

This could all be done via a Senate Majority and the Senate Rules.

You want to reform the “dark money unrepresentative Senate”? You can do it easily with a senate majority via the Senate’s own rules. You eliminate the bias of the filibuster in Senate rules, you can re-bias the individual Senators’ votes based on Census population. You could even out-law “Dark Money” via Senate rules also. And then double-dog dare the Congress to do the same.

Let’s be honest with each other?

Communism failed twice, Stalinism and Maoism in the mid 20^th century. Stalinism and Maoism never got close to McCarthyism’s “red-scare” Orwellian "1984” Communism.

Free-market laissez-faire capitalism has been at the root of every other war, depression, dictatorship, catastrophic failure since the beginning of time! Neither economic philosophy is anywhere near beyond reproach.

Waste, fraud and abuse are not exclusively a Republican nor a Democratic party issue. All political parties are susceptible to waste, fraud and abuse, conservatives call it profit, and require oversight.

The larger developed world’s 30+ year PROVEN success with Universal-Democratic-Socialized-Healthcare is positive and self-evident!

I therefore support Democratic-Socialism.

Questions:

Ø How did the free market expression of the Pyramids, roughly 2700 BCE and 1500 BCE, advantage anyone but THE pharaohs?

Ø How did the free market expression of the Palace at Versailles, Buckingham Palace, or Biltmore Estate advantage anyone other than the principles?

Stalinism and Maoism cost maybe 100 million people combined. How many people do you think the Pyramids, Palace at Versailles, Buckingham Palace, or Biltmore Estate cost the people that built them, historically adjusted[1]? From the totalitarian aspect there was NO difference. Totalitarianism be it capitalism, Stalinism or Maoism always starts from a benign positive and then goes awry. Democratic Socialism starts from a benign positive and is then democratically directed.

Pyramids, Palace at Versailles, Buckingham Palace, Biltmore Estate, Stalinism and Maoism all suffered from the too proverbially referenced “fraud, waste and abuse” of human nature from the very top, to the bottom.

Niccolò Machiavelli (1469 – 1527) formulated his monarchial philosophy, the ends justify the means and the preservation / accumulation of power as paramount.

That brought us to the beginning of the end of the monarchy, the United States’s revolution and Adam Smith’s[2] (1723–1790) “Democratic Socialism.” Too many people read the “Wealth of Nations” and come away believing in the “invisible hand” is Machiavellian, the ends justify any means. Nothing could be further from Adam Smith’s truth. Adam Smith wrote two books, several times i.e., "The Theory of Moral Sentiments" (1759, 1761, 1767, 1774, 1781, 1790) and "An Inquiry into the Nature and Causes of the Wealth of Nations" (1776, 1778, 1784, 1786 1789). "The Theory of Moral Sentiments," his magnum opus, is the origin/premise for the “invisible hand” and “Wealth of Nations". That concept is based on the "The Theory of Moral Sentiments" "impartial spectator".

Adam Smith’s "impartial spectator" is an imaginary judge inside our minds, also called the "man within the breast", that helps us evaluate our own behavior fairly.

The Capitalism, Free Market’s Machiavelli’s “greed is good,” would be repugnant to Adam Smith’s "impartial spectator".

The concept, “greed is good,” would be repugnant to Adam Smith.

Anybody that wants to use Adam Smith read his magnum opus “The Theory of Moral Sentiments” 6 times before they argue his economics in "An Inquiry into the Nature and Causes of the Wealth of Nations."

Dear Judge,

I am a card carrying, draft avoiding, conscientious Vietnam War objecting, random sequence #006, Pacifist that has never owned or had a need to own a gun.

You, and your ilk, take yourselves entirely tooooo seriously, with your asserted need for “absolute immunity.” Judges do not make decisions on issues in dispute, except in specific cases when the “the parties” mutually request it and you freely agree to it. Diffuse the issue, juries make decisions, do not escalate it with bravado and an unconstitutional need for absolute immunity.

Any assertion, request or grant of immunity from the RULE of LAW , 23-939 Trump v. United States (07/01/2024), is antithetical and diametrically opposed to responsible democratic-republican Constitutional government!

Judges at best and at worst over see the fair due process of law, allowing and disallowing the presentation of credible factual evidence outside of the direct testimony of the parties. I have the right to testify in a criminal trial that “pigs can fly ”. Judges have the right and responsibility to assess the clear credibly of my evidence “pigs can fly” outside of my testimony before it is presented to the jury.

Any assertion of the potential for vexatious action or continual calumniations as result of the judicial decision cannot be allowed to defeat constitutionally assured due process rights. That is life, in a free constitutional society. They have to be dealt with as expeditiously as possible.

The Constitutional, random selection, of “local juries” decides issues in dispute in this country!
