Quick Take --------------------------------------------------------

Pat, I am OK.  You are OK.

Jon Ossoff calls Trump

‘uniquely despicable’

in excoriating speech

“They’ve lied non-stop about this war like they lie about everything. And they know they’re lying, but they lie and they keep lying anyway because in this White House, they view persistence in deceit as a virtue,” the senator said. “And there’s something uniquely despicable about lying a nation into war, treating citizens as fools and those who serve as pawns.”

“They made you pay more for everything, and took us to war on lies, and spent most of last year trying to cover up for the world’s most famous pedophile while the crook president and his crook family raked in billions while your tax dollars were put to work backing Trump’s businesses, Ossoff said at a rally in midtown Atlanta on Sunday (8/16/26) afternoon.

Jon Ossoff....  “While the sailors on the Lincoln fight his war, while he fruitlessly drains our munitions and oil reserves, the president sleeps through his meetings. He golfs and trades stocks. See, he doesn't want to do the job. He wants to build his ballroom and travel with Natalie on their apparently defenseless flying palace gifted by the Emir of Qatar.”

He doesn't want to do the job!!!!

“Corruption in American politics runs a lot deeper than Donald Trump,” Ossoff said, pointing to what he called the “coin-operated” politics of political action committees. “Trump promised to attack a broken system. I get it. Right target. Yes, the system is really rigged. But he’s not unrigging it. He’s re-rigging it for himself.”

“When he first announced the tariffs, you remember that? He called it liberation day and it crashed the markets because it was clown policy,” Ossoff said, noting how the president then purchased stock a week after the markets fell. “And then the very next morning, April 9th, he posts on Truth Social. ‘This is a great time to buy.’ Three exclamation marks.

“OK, now listen to this. Three hours and 41 minutes after that post, one day after he bought millions in stock, h e cancelled the tariffs and triggered one of the biggest same day rebound rallies in market history. He’s trying to get money.”  Ossoff said at a rally in midtown Atlanta on Sunday (8/16/26) afternoon.

“They’ve lied nonstop about this war like they lie about everything. And they know they’re lying, but they lie and they keep lying anyway, because in this White House, they view persistence in deceit as a virtue.

1.    June 21, 2025, under Operation Midnight Hammer OBLITERATED Iran’s Nuclear Capacity                                                                         LIE

2.    Iran first announced a temporary closure of the Strait of Hormuz on February 17, 2026, citing live-fire military drills during indirect nuclear talks with the United States in Geneva. [1, 2]                                                                      Truth

3.    February 27, 2026 Operation Epic Fury to stop Iran’s imminent nuclear bomb                                                                          LIE

4.    Trump declared April 7 that the U.S. would suspend bombing Iran for two weeks to allow for negotiations, he said the U.S. had "already met and exceeded all military objectives.

5.    April 7, 2026, President Donald Trump issued an apocalyptic warning on social media that "[a] whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again" during a high-stakes conflict with Iran

6.    Hegseth April 8 Pentagon press conference. "Epic Fury decimated Iran's military and rendered it combat-ineffective for years to come. "

7.    April 12: After failed negotiations, Trump said "most points were agreed to, but the only point that really mattered, NUCLEAR, was not." Trump said the U.S. would begin blocking ships entering or leaving the Strait of Hormuz.

8.    April 17: In a Truth Social post, Trump said in all capital letters, "The Strait of Hormuz is completely open and ready for business and full passage, but the naval blockade will remain in full force and effect as it pertains to Iran, only, until such time as our transaction with Iran is 100% complete. This process should go very quickly in that most of the points are already negotiated."

9.    April 19: On Truth Social, Trump said Iran fired in the Strait of Hormuz the day before and violated the ceasefire agreement.

10.                                                                                                                                                                                          April 20: Trump said in a Truth Social post that the deal the U.S. is working on will be "far better" than the 2015 Iran nuclear deal negotiated under President Barack Obama. (During his first term, Trump broke his promise to renegotiate the deal.)

11.                                                                                                                                                                                          Trump escalates threats, vows to target Iranian bridges and power plants, Jul 22, 2026 6:55 PM EDT

12.

And there’s something uniquely despicable about lying a nation into war, treating citizens as fools and those who serve as pawns. Aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln, they’ve now been at sea for two hundred and forty-plus days without a port call. It’s a Navy record. And still — and still and still — they serve with excellence.

Repeat, REPEAT, REPEAT
