Trump's DESTRUCTION of the White House
I got 40 years of REAL-WORLD Commercial Construction experience.
You never pierce the envelope of the existing structure, until you the addition is up and under roof and weather / water tight. Trump construction's(?) is going to have maintain temporary protection of the existing occupied structure over the WINTER un-necessarily!!!
You build the addition, foundation, walls roof weather tight before you destroy / DEMOLISH the existing building's WEATHER TIGHT envelope.
Trump is not a CONSTRUCTION guy! Trump just plays one on TV.
I want to see the detailed plans for the White House addition. I want to see WTF is happening. Normally you can rely upon the permit process to have PRE-APPROVED detailed architectural, structural and code compliant plans.
It would take 30-90 days to get the plans prepared and another 30-90 days to get just a preliminary approval.
Trump has not gotten or even ATTEMPTED a permit from the D.C. City/County authority much less a General Services Administration (GSA) approval. Trump never got a permit for PAVING the Rose Garden, as any Washington D.C. home owner would have much less a permit / review of the General Services Administration (GSA). You can complain about government "red tape" but they perform a REAL LIFE function that you cannot even conceive of unless you have seen it go WRONG without them.
The RENDERING Trump has of what he aspires to is a sales tool for an Architect. The ACTUAL plans take into account, structural design, neighborhood homogeneity and CODES!!!!
Trump is DESTROYING the White House without any architectural, structural, judicial, much less GSA review / approval, like he is destroying the Federal Government on the whim of a spoiled rich kid!!
