      Don't fall for THE SUCKER PUNCH!!

 

Dear People,

I cannot SCREAM it loudly ENOUGH or repeat it often enough.  Petroleum Inflation is and has been THE issue confronting the United States and the WORLD today and for the last 50+ years!!!  This is not necessarily a Democrat v Republican issue.  The preponderance of Oil Interests, that are Republican is contributory.  Do not let them distract with COVID-inflation, Ukraine War inflation or Trump's favorite "immigration-inflation." 

Inflation is a measure of the rate of rising prices of goods and services in an economy.  Inflation has two major cause factors, 1.) - scarcity of goods and services based on a fixed or decreasing money supply and / or 2.) a fixed or a surplus of goods based on an increasing money supply.

Now there are politically motivated forces out there, that want to say the CURRENT bout (see chart) of inflation started with Biden and the 117^th Democratic congress assuming office in January of 2021.  And the inflation started before Putin's invasion (24 February 2022) of the Ukraine. 

By definition that is impossible.  Inflation describes past issue not concurrent issues.  Inflation cannot be turned on or off like a faucet with an election.

They want to blame COVID inflation, the last 12 months of inflation, 2/21-2/22 (see chart) on Biden and the 117^th Democratic Congress.  Now because Biden and the Democratic Congress only assumed office January 2021, to say they dramatically impacted the inflation rate in the following 12 months is without merit.  If the current inflation rate is related to any political leaders it was created in the 12 months prior, by COVID, Trump and the 116^th GOP Senate and Democratic congress, with Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act, also known as the CARES Act totaling $2.1 trillion. (Effective March 27, 2020) and the Second coronavirus stimulus, as part of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021 $900 billion in stimulus relief for the COVID-19 (Effective December 27, 2020) not Biden and the 117^th Democratic Congress.

Biden and the 117^th Democratically congress added to the deficit concurrently with the inflationary period in question with the Third coronavirus stimulus, as part of the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (Effective March 11, 2021).  It increased the deficit by $2 trillion(?).

I am a firm believer in the economic dictum, dubiously attributed to Mayer Amschel Rothschild (1744 – 1812) at the inception (1776-1789) of our country:

"Give me control of a nation's money supply,

and I care not who makes its laws."

Monetary policy is all powerful.  You can decrease the money supply and things will cost more, or you can increase the money supply and things will cost more.  Greed drives them all.   

Last year at the height of the pandemic, production stopped, creating a scarcity, prices went up.  With the stimulus packages the monetary supply increased, the prices went up.  But now prices stay up because of pure greed, when in doubt keep the money.

Natural market forces will again resume with time, supply will satiate greed and bring supply back to a naturally sustainable level.  And it will happen with a Democrat or a Republican in office.  DO NOT FALL FOR THE SUCKER PUNCH those out of office can do better than those in office.  Time is the ONLY CURE!!!

Nature has to take its course.

But apart from COVID we have had and still have Petroleum Inflation/  Petroleum Inflation is and has been THE issue confronting the United States and the WORLD today and for the last 50+ years!!!

Start, maintain, and support the GREEN NEW DEAL.  The GREEN NEW defeats Putin, Radical Islam and SAVES THE PLANET.

Again… Defeat Petroleum Inflation!!!!!  Defeat "Petroleum Inflation" and you defeat Putin in Ukraine, you defeat the dark forces of Islamic terrorism, you stabilize the world economy and you SAVE THE PLANET!!!!!
